About Dexcom’s Summer Intern Program

Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives of patients with diabetes? Dexcom’s U.S. 12-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite, hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern classes from across the country. Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Dexcom interns have earned the nickname of “Game Changers” based on their ability to leave a lasting impact on our organization. Internship Department Details

• Department Name: Apps Archt-San Diego
• Business Function: Controlling and Streamlining data of file creation processes that accurately reflect the server operating system.
• Team Highlights: Our team specializes in software development focused on automating the creation of files for the App Compatibility Matrix, ultimately increasing efficiency by 90%.
  
  

Where You Come In

• Create automation for creating JSON files, improving efficiency and accuracy
• Create sustainable software architectural environments for file creation
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Design and execute test plans and scripts, enabling systematic testing and validation of CFG.
• Utilize programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, Java, Selenium) to automate processes and reduce manual effort.
  
  

What Makes You Successful

Having experience in the following:

• You have experience with shell scripting, Python, and Java, enabling you to automate tasks and develop software solutions effectively.
• You are proficient in using office software, as well as collaboration tools like Jira and GitHub

Experience And Education Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
• Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later.
  
  

Non-Exempt Salary Details

The annualized base salary range for this role is $22.00 to $29.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
