To be considered a candidate for this position, all of the following must be included in the application package:

Position Purpose: To provide high quality flight instruction under Part 61 FAA regulations for the Aviation Academy.
Faculty are professional educators with the primary responsibility of providing a quality learning experience for all Lane Community College students. The relationship of the faculty member to the student is one of the teacher of record and facilitator of learning.
Essential Functions: - Evaluate and maintain accurate records of student progress and provide appropriate and timely feedback to students regarding performance.
- Deliver academically sound, challenging and creative lessons.
- Communicate effectively with aviation academy students and staff, both verbally and in written form.
- Professionally represent the Aviation Academy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: - Effectively using technology in an instructional setting.
- Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to students in a flight school setting.
- Maintain a commitment to the College mission and strategic agendas including College Learning Outcomes, cultural competency, and diversity.
