Trust Consulting Services, Inc. is a certified 8(a), SDVOSB firm specializing in Acquisition Management, Program Management, Financial Management, Information Technology, and Facility Management in support of state, local, and federal agencies. We have an immediate opening for a qualified Unarmed Security Guard who will support Essex County District Courthouse in Ellicott City, Maryland.

The duties of the Unarmed Security Guard include:
• Maintain entrance and exit logs for authorized persons.
• Inspect bags and packages entering the premises.
• Wand all authorized visitors before entering.
• Periodically patrolling the interior area, and after the close of business, check for fire hazards, and mechanical alarm system malfunctions, ensuring doors are secured and turning off unnecessary lights.
• Report any security violations to the facility manager.
• Maintain a daily duty log, noting all activities and incidents that occurred during each shift.

Qualifications:
• Must be a licensed Security Guard in the State of Maryland
• Must possess a valid Maryland Driver's License or Maryland Non-Driver’s ID
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a high-school diploma or equivalent
• Must have strong communication skills
• Be proficient in the English language (i.e. read, write, speak)
• Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance while on duty.
• Must have the ability to write incident reports and statements
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to complete a background check
• Must be approved to work in the United States

Opening: Immediate Hire

Term: Base and four (4) Option Periods

Salary: $15.13 per hour

Hours: Weekends :

12:00 AM- 12:00 PM

12:00 PM- 12:00 AM
