Taylor Hospitality is currently looking for an active and engaged Director of Training! Are you passionate about culture and development? You will play a vital role in all training programs implemented throughout our entire portfolio of properties by training and improving our processes for our operational teams. You will be implementing comprehensive training programs that educate our team to deliver Quality and foster an environment of service excellence. Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 Base Salary Benefits: Full-time team Members receive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life, 401(k), STD, LTD, paid holiday, vacation, personal & sick time, lean management training, and numerous other employee discount benefits through our HR provider LL Roberts. Role: As the Director of Training, you will be responsible for our corporate-wide training program as well as improving our processes for our operational teams. This role will be implementing comprehensive training programs that educate our team to deliver quality and foster an environment of service excellence. Working with our Senior Leadership Team, General Managers, and Department Managers to effectively deliver comprehensive training for our team members. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance and deliver company-wide training to communicate Up To Par and property brand standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Drive Quality Assurance throughout Properties
  • Work with the corporate Transition team for new property management agreements.
  • Track training progress of all team members to ensure Quality culture is maintained
  • Create and administer development programs and create and administer training programs.
  • Create Management Development Program and Self Directed Development Programs to ensure current team members are prepared for upcoming and anticipated opportunities.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify key talent and oversee strategic succession planning.
  • Assist property leadership on identifying productivity, operational and financial opportunities in the food and beverage departments.
  • Administer corporate new hire orientation.
  • Create and enhance training courses in property core business departments (Food and Beverage, Guest Services, Human Resources, etc.).
  • Identify and develop on property food and beverage trainers and partner with these trainers to strengthen their effectiveness.
  • Partner with Human Resources to identify talent and HR leadership to deploy development programs in support of succession planning activities.
  • Ensure training courses and development programs meet stated objectives through analyzing metrics and business impact.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of Hospitality Management experience is required.
  • A proven track record of hospitality and operational training.
  • Must possess professional and efficient communication skills and exhibit the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage competing priorities.
  • Possess well-developed leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to build and maintain business relationships.
